Privacy
This is a one-person site selling one guide. I collect as little as I can get away with, and I do not sell or share any of it.
The short version
If you buy something, my payment processor gets your details and I see your email address and order. If you download the free checklist, I get your email address so I can send it and occasionally write to you. That is the whole thing. Nobody’s data is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. You can be removed at any time by emailing zachary@get13a.com.
Who is responsible for this site
get13a.com is operated by an individual based in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines. There is no company, no team, and no data department. Questions about anything on this page go to zachary@get13a.com and are answered by me.
What I collect, and why

What I never collect
- Your payment details. I never see your card number, expiry, or security code. Those go directly to the payment processor.
- Anything about your immigration case. This site sells a document. It is not a service, I do not review anyone’s paperwork, and there is no reason for me to hold your passport number, visa status, marriage details, or documents. Please do not email them to me.
- Anything I would rather not be responsible for. That is the general principle here.
Who else touches your data
Running even a small site means a handful of other companies are involved. Each has its own privacy policy, and each holds only what it needs:
- Gumroad processes payments and delivers the files. They act as the seller of record, hold the payment details, and keep the order record. Your card statement will show them rather than get13a.com.
- My web host stores the site itself and keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, in the ordinary course of running a web server.
- My email provider holds any correspondence between us, and the list used to send the checklist and update notices.
Nobody on that list is given your data to use for their own marketing, and nothing is sold to anybody at all.
Emails I send
If you give me your email address, expect: the file you asked for, an updated edition when the guide changes materially, and occasionally a short note when something in the process changes that affects people applying. That is the whole editorial plan. There is an unsubscribe link on everything, it works immediately, and unsubscribing does not affect your access to anything you bought.
How long anything is kept
- Order records: kept while I am selling the product, because refunds, support and re-delivery all depend on them.
- Email list: kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted.
- Correspondence: kept in my mailbox unless you ask me to delete it.
What you can ask me to do
Regardless of where you live, you can ask me to tell you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email zachary@get13a.com and I will do it. If you are in the EU or UK, these are your rights under the GDPR; if you are in California, under the CCPA. I am applying the same standard to everybody because maintaining two standards for a mailing list of this size would be absurd.
One limit worth stating: I cannot delete records that Gumroad is required to keep for tax and accounting purposes. For those, contact them directly.
Cookies
The site itself does not use cookies to track you across the web, and there is no advertising network on it. WordPress may set functional cookies, and the payment processor sets its own cookies when you go through checkout on their pages. I do not run analytics or tracking scripts, so nothing on this site sets a cookie to follow you anywhere else.
Children
This site is intended for adults dealing with their own immigration paperwork. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this changes in a way that matters, I will update the date below, and if the change is significant I will say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
