Refunds
Thirty days, no questions asked. If the guide did not help you, email me and I will return your money.
The short version
Email zachary@get13a.com within 30 days of your purchase, tell me you want a refund, and include the email address you bought with. You do not have to explain why. You keep the files.
Why the policy is this simple
This is a digital product. You cannot return a PDF, and I cannot un-send it. So the only refund policy that is honest is one that trusts you. If you read the guide and it did not tell you anything you could not have found for free, you should not be out thirty-seven dollars, and I would rather refund you than argue about it.
I also do not require you to delete the files. That request would be unenforceable and slightly insulting.
How to request one
- Email zachary@get13a.com from any address, within 30 days of purchase.
- Include the email address used at checkout, and the order number if you still have the receipt. The order number makes it faster, but the email address alone is usually enough to find you.
- You will get a reply from me, not a ticketing system. I answer these myself, usually within a day or two, allowing for the time difference: I am in the Philippines.
How the money comes back
Refunds are issued through the same payment processor you bought with, back to the original card or account. Once I approve it on my end, the processor handles the rest. How quickly it appears on your statement is up to your bank, and that is usually somewhere between a few days and a couple of weeks.
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, who act as the seller of record. That means the charge on your statement will show Gumroad rather than get13a.com, and they hold the payment details. I never see your card number.
After the 30 days
The formal policy ends at 30 days. In practice, if something is genuinely wrong with a purchase, such as a file that will not open, a download link that failed, or a duplicate charge, write to me whenever it happens and I will sort it out. That is a support problem, not a refund request, and there is no time limit on it.
Free updates are part of what you bought
When the Bureau of Immigration changes a form, a fee, or a requirement, I update the guide and send the new edition to everyone who has bought it. You do not pay again. If you bought months ago and have not received an update, check your spam folder first, then email me and I will resend it.
What this policy does not cover
- Your visa outcome. Nothing here is a guarantee that your application will be approved, or approved in any particular timeframe. The guide documents a process; it does not control the Bureau’s decisions. See the disclaimer on the front page.
- Chargebacks filed without contacting me. Not because I will fight one, but because it is slower for you than simply asking.
